Our week at the MTC

On our first mission we didn't get to go to the Missionary Training Center (MTC) because of COVID. We were excited to get the opportunity this time.
We were given a 10 minute window to arrive. They really know how to process people through and get us settled in. They were very well organized, our room keys and pass cards and all our agendas were ready for us.
We loved our time there, we were only there for 5 days but they were packed full of training and spiritual highs. We loved watching and visiting with the young missionaries. They were from all over the world and were brought together for a common cause, to serve our Lord.
We had chances to meet up with some old friends and to make new ones.

The Harman's are from Grangeville also and we were in the same District (learning group) so we spent lots of time together. They are going to the Philippines.

We had to have our picture taken at the famous world map. They had people there to take the picture, just like at Disneyland (except they didn't charge us).

These were our friends the Baxter's. We served with them in Poland working with the Ukrainian refugees. They are now serving at the MTC in a Branch Presidency. We love this couple a lot, because we shared experiences that will ever bond us together.

This was our District- (L to R) our instructor, Elder & Sister Kanel - headed to Greece, Elder & Sister Harman, us, and Elder & Sister Wright - going to Melbourne Australia our other trainer.
So all over the world we go!

This is a depiction of Jesus inviting the apostles to be "Fishers of Men".
This was my favorite display that I saw on the grounds.

We loved the two devotionals they had for us while we were there. One was an 'in person' with Bishop Budge and the other was a video presentation of Elder Bednar. They were both excellent.

Our bags are now all packed and weighed because tomorrow we fly to Zagreb, Croatia.
